Depending on the time of the year hunting is either done over water or fields.  Decoys are set up ahead of time, or the morning of.  The geese usually come in with smaller groups 4-15 per group, but this varies.  Most of the action will be for Egyptian Geese with all the colors that they hold in plumage.  You will be hunting out of blinds set up in the fields around fence row, water pivots or ground blinds in the fields.  Most of the blinds around the water dams are semi permanent.  

Dove hunting can be done in conjunction with the waterfowl hunting or on its own.  The dove hunting is very good earlier in the year, especially May, and early June.  

In the past few years more and more hunters have been coming over to strictly goose hunt, as the word is getting out that the Eastern Cape holds tremendous action for waterfowl enthusiasts.  You can custom design your package based on $400/day.
