Kabra Safaris has teamed up with Rudolf Graupner to offer leopard hunting in Namibia in one of the prime leopard hunting areas in Southern Africa . 10 day hunts with dogs, and 12 days with bait are offered. Timing for this hunt is key, with the best time being July and August.

Hunting for leopard in Namibia is done in the Kabibib region of Namibia . It is about a 4 hour drive from Windhoek and is about as remote of an area as you can get in Southern Africa . The hunting area is huge in size with over 100,000 acres in the area to hunt. This area is free range, wide open, with limited cover for stalking. Other species in this area that are very good include: Kudu, Mountain Zebra, Kalahari Springbok, Klipspringer, Gemsbok, Hyena and Cheetah.

Hunting leopard takes time and patience. We have had hunters get them in two days, some in 10 days. Hunting with dogs increases your success rate, but you must be ready for quick shots, and be in fairly good shape.
